The annual July 4th fireworks display will blast off as planned for the Brookings community. Traditionally, this display is the finale for the annual Uncle Sam Jam festival at the Swiftel Center. However, due to COVID-19, all Uncle Sam Jam activities have been canceled.
The Swiftel Center is proud to continue to host the fireworks display for our community. As a fan-first facility, we sincerely appreciate your support of Swiftel Center events and your understanding. The annual fireworks display is generously funded by the City of Brookings and Brookings County in collaboration for the holiday celebration. The Brookings Fire Department properly controls and safely sets off all fireworks for the July 4th display.
The July 4th fireworks display is scheduled to start shortly after sunset at approximately 10:15p.m. Please be aware this time is approximate and pending fair weather conditions. Fireworks may start at a different time than noted. Make arrangements accordingly.
Please be aware that parking will not be available at the Swiftel Center. Viewers are recommended to find a location within city limits to watch the fireworks display. Fireworks selected for this year’s display are purposely selected to launch higher so viewers can see them when watching from most anywhere within city limits.
