DISABILITY SERVICES: The Swiftel Center places high priority on the comfort and safety of its patrons. The Swiftel Center also recognizes the needs of people with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Every effort has been made to comply with ADA accessibility guidelines to accommodate patrons with disabilities. Patrons requiring assistance should contact the Swiftel Center in advance of their visit. For accessible seating please visit the Swiftel Center Box Office or call 605-692-7539.
Accessible Ticket Policies: For each price range, 1% of the total number of seats offered for sale to go to the general public will be wheelchair accessible and 1% of the total number of seats offered for sale to the general public will be companion seating to the accessible seats.
Wheelchair Space Locations: Guests with disabilies and their companions may enjoy wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the facility in numerous price ranges. There is an elevator within the Swiftel Center, accessible to the Upper East Side level of the arena. Please refer to the above listed phone number for seating inquiries.
ATM: There is an Automated Teller Machine located within the Swiftel Center located in the lobby, near the Box Office.
FIRST AID LOCATIONS: First aid facilities are available at the Guest Service Booth located in the concourse of the lower level. Please ask the nearest usher or event staff for any assistance.
LOST AND FOUND: A lost and found service is available in the Box Office. Articles are kept at the office until the end of the event and then are stored for 30 days. Swiftel Center is not responsible for misplaced items. For more information, please call 605-692-7539.
LOST CHILDREN: Guests are encouraged to instruct children in their group what to do if they get lost. If a child is lost of separated from his/her group, the child should ask the nearest Swiftel Center staff member for help immediately. A lost child will be taken to the Guest Service Booth located in the concourse. Parents looking for a child should follow the same procedure. It is much easier for event staff to return children to their seats if they retain their ticket stub.
ARENA TOURS: Tours of the public areas of the Swiftel Center are available at no charge. All tours must be prearranged by calling 605-692-7539. Tours are prohibited on event days.
NO SMOKING: The Swiftel Center is a smoke free building. Smoking is only permitted outside the building in designated areas.
CAMERA POLICY: The following rules are general and can be overridden based on specific request from attraction or promoter:
Sporting Events: Non-flash, still cameras of any type may be used to take pictures of sporting events. Any tripod or other photography equipment may be used on event by event basis but must not block isle ways or patrons viewing area.
Concerts: Cameras with a detachable lens or lens of more than two inches are prohibited from all Swiftel Center Concerts. The use of flash photography may also be prohibited. The event promoter reserves the right to deny camera use at any time during or before the concert and to prohibit any camera that is deemed unacceptable.
Video Recorders or Digital Cameras with recording capabilites are prohibited at most events. The Swiftel Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit use of any camera that its personnel deems unacceptable. When an event requests a "NO CAMERA POLICY", it will be enforced by the Swiftel Center staff. Failure to comply with Swiftel Center Camera Policy may result in the film being confiscated. CELL PHONES & PAGERS: The use of cellular phones and pagers is permitted provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event.
ANIMALS: Pets are not permitted at the Swiftel Center however; all service animals are welcome. Please notify your ticket seller at the time of purchase if an aisle seat is required to accommodate your service animal.
EXIT AND RE-ENTRY: There is no re-entry to arena events.
FOOD & BEVERAGES, BOTTLES & CANS: Guests are not permitted to bring any outside food or beverage into the Swiftel Center. Containers including bottles, cans, thermos bottles and plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety and protection of our guests.
ALCOHOL POLICY: Under NO circumstances will beer or alcoholic beverages be served to a patron unless he or she produces one of the following forms of identification: * A valid driver's license which proves that the patron is 21 years of age or older * A passport identification which proves that the patron is 21 years of age or older * A military identification card which proves that the patron is 21 years of age or older
The following forms of identification are NOT accepted: * Duplicate licenses or other forms of identification * Damaged, mutilated or altered licenses or other forms of identification * Diver's licenses which do not have photos
GATE OPENING TIMES: All gates open one hour prior to all events. There may be occasional gate opening time changes for special circumstances.
GUEST CONDUCT: The Swiftel Center is committed to providing a fun, family atmosphere in the facility. For the comfort of our guests, noisemakers of any type (e.g. air horns, cow bells, etc.) are prohibited. The use of Laser Pointers is strictly prohibited and will result in ejection. If someone is interfering with your enjoyment of the event, please contact a Swiftel Center staff member.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: In the interest of guest safety and enjoyment, the Swiftel Center reserves the right to prevent certain items from being carried into the facility. These items include, but are not limited to: containers, bottles, cans, outside food and beverage, laser pointers, fireworks, weapons, alcohol, drugs and anything else that can be used as dangerous projectiles. Similarly, other items that may jeopardize the safety or viewing/listening enjoyment of the guests may be prohibited.
SECURITY PROCEDURES: With the increase in the alert level of the Homeland Security Advisory System, announced by the Bush administration, the Swiftel Center, in conjunction with arenas across the country, has announced the implementation of additional security procedures which may include visual searches. All guests will be subject to search, at the Swiftel Center's discretion, of their possessions (including women's handbags of normal size that may be allowed entry after such search). Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrance and no storage or "check area" will be provided for such items. Enforcement will be without exceptions.
PARKING: There are 719 parking spots in the south Swiftel Center Parking lots
Handicap accessible parking is available in both parking lots.
BABY CHANGING AREAS: Baby changing stations are located in all public restrooms.
COURTESY PHONE: A courtesy phone is located in the lobby at the Sprint PCS booth. Local phone calls are free of charge. In order to make a long distance call, a phone card is required.
SCALPERS AND TICKET BROKERS: "Scalpers" and ticket brokers are not recognized ticketing agents of the Swiftel Center. If you purchase lost or stolen tickets from a non-authorized agent, you risk being removed from the seats you are in upon presentation of a replacement ticket by the legal ticket holder. We urge everyone to purchase tickets at the Swiftel Center Box Office, charge by phone at 605-692-1992, order online at www.swiftelcenter.com or at any ticketmaster location.
EMERGENCY PHONE SERVICE: Receive emergency messages while attending reserved seating events at the Swiftel Center. Leave your seat location and this Sprint PCS number, 605-691-3360, with the necessary person. Should an emergency arise, our staff will contact you at your seat.
FOCUS GROUP: Artist Research We will contact you via email regarding potential concerts that are looking at the Swiftel Center. We will give you all the information we have regarding the show (artist name, ticket price, date) and ask for your opinion on the viability of the show. New Event Research We will contact you via email regarding potential new events that we are considering for the Swiftel Center. We will give you all of the information we have regarding the event (event idea, ticket price, date) and ask for your opinion on the viability of the new event.
